Abstract: The author gave an overview of the current situation of recruitment, educational system, cultivation plan, curriculum setup, graduation presentation, degree conferment and employment with respect to Taiwanese post-graduates majoring in physical education, probed into the advantages and characteristics of the cultivation of Tai-wanese postgraduates pursuing the master of physical education degree, and revealed the following findings: the advisors of Taiwanese postgraduates pursuing the master of physical education degree are sourced internationally, which in a certain sense widens the field of international vision of the students; in terms of cultivation objective and curriculum setup, the view of general knowledge education is still affecting the cultivation of postgraduates pursu-ing the master of physical education degree; while superior economic conditions, open educational conceptions and valuing the study of sports humanistic and social science have build a foundation for Taiwanese in their makings of humanistic sports; moreover, valuing practical teaching and participating in social practical activities are the unique characteristics of the teaching.Key words: physical education major；master degree pursuing postgraduates；curriculum setup；Taiwan province
